The challenge
Scholar Co. needed a way to expand brand visibility and build trust with families navigating the college admissions process—without relying on overly academic or sales-driven content. The challenge was to translate complex admissions guidance into an approachable, engaging format while clearly differentiating Scholar Co. in a crowded education landscape. The brand needed a consistent, recognizable presence across podcast platforms and social channels that could drive awareness, engagement, and qualified leads.

The solution
I led the creative direction and end-to-end production of Not Your Mom’s Admissions, a multi-platform podcast designed to feel modern, accessible, and human. This included developing the visual identity, art direction, and episode templates; producing and editing both video and audio content; and crafting clear, audience-first messaging. I designed and executed marketing assets and social content optimized for YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Instagram, and LinkedIn—ensuring each platform reinforced the same brand voice while meeting native format and performance best practices. The result was a cohesive content system that supported discoverability, consistency, and long-term growth.

The results
The podcast significantly increased Scholar Co.’s visibility across platforms, positioning the brand as a trusted, relatable authority in college admissions. Consistent publishing and cross-channel promotion drove sustained audience growth, higher engagement on social media, and increased inbound interest from prospective families. The podcast now functions as both a top-of-funnel awareness tool and a lead-generation asset—strengthening Scholar Co.’s brand presence while supporting measurable business growth.
